Where Geospatial Community wish to provide a platform for all geospatial professionals to share their opinions on things that happens around us. There is an adage that “if you don’t speak about your haircut in the barbering saloon, you get a bad haircut”. This is our industry and if we sit quietly and allow few people who may or may not be in our profession to decide for us, their errors will be transferred to us.  It is time to let people know that the work they do in the office affects our work as well, the work by Ghana Statistical Service, Lands Commission, Ghana Spatial Authority, EPA and others affect our efficiency. Where Geospatial media want to provide voice for all geospatial professional.

Anyone who wants to share articles related to GIS may share with us via email; info@wheregeospatial.com. These articles will be shared on the Blog page of our website. NB: writers will be duly acknowledged. We will also use this platform to educate the public about our work and what they need to know to make our work easier. The industry advancing faster than we can catch up but we spend so much time collecting data than analyzing them, this is because we do not have accurate spatial data. Data collection is becoming too cumbersome and expensive. The time is coming when we will move to Volunteer Geographic Information (VGI) Data where we will ask the public to help us collect data by sending from their mobile phone and we keep them. But we have to prepare their mind from now. They need to thirst after this desire. This platform is going to give us such opportunity to do that.

For now keep writing your opinions and feelings. We will use our social media platforms to get it to those that matter.
