Mapping Media Houses In Greater Accra
Hello Geospatials,
The quest for geospatial data keep increasing to the point that sometimes, we do not have the ability to meet these demands. It’s therefore important that we collect as many data as possible ahead of the demands. Where Geospatial Media is working on a mini project for the month of June.
Project Overview
We are mapping media houses in Ghana starting with the Greater Accra region.
Purpose of the project
We are undertaking this project as part of our motive to make wide range of spatial data readily available for members of this network. It will be hosted on our Spatial Data Infrastructure for the public to download and use for free.
Who we are looking for
We are looking for volunteers in mapping these media houses. We want people who have knowledge in Google Earth ?
Why you should volunteer
Every volunteer will be credited in the metadata of the dataset. An article will be published on the Where Geospatial website and contributors will be acknowledged there as well.
How to volunteer

NB: We need a limited number of people to work on this project. Hence application will be closed when the desired number of volunteers apply.
